I service all acoustic pianos. I recommend fine tuning of your piano at least once per year, sometimes as often as twice a year. This depends on the amount of play, the level of each player and also the discretion of each players ear. I offer text, email or postcard reminders for future services if requested by clients.
I offer several piano tuning options depending on your specific needs:
Level Basic Maintenance Piano Tuning 165 – 190
Is your piano professionally tuned and maintained regularly ? Do you live in Central Florida ? Level Basic is your most affordable service option and it includes:
- Complete piano tuning and equalization at @A440 concert pitch
- Free interior cleaning of your instrument
- Overall instrument assessment
- Please specify overall condition of your piano and your general location when calling or texting me so as to avoid incurring any additional travel charges. “New clients only” may be eligible for discount.
Level Advanced Service Piano Tuning 190 – 245
Level Advanced if your piano receives fairly frequent use by intermediate player you might choose this service option. It includes:
- Complete piano tuning and equalization at @ A440 concert pitch
- Free interior cleaning of your instrument
- Minor Action adjustments, basic level of hammer voicing and cleaning to help level tonality dynamics. Some minor regulation and key repairs are included.
- Pitch raise 5c -7c @ A5 if required
- Instrument appraisal and recommendations
- Regional piano and voice training referrals
Level Professional Service Piano Tuning 225 – 325
Level Concert Professional if you have recently acquired your piano or your piano has been somewhat neglected over the years. This is the most commonly performed service and it includes:
- Complete piano tuning and equalization at @ A440 concert pitch – fully equalized
- Free interior cleaning of your instrument
- Action adjustments and needed regulation where required
- Pitch raise up to 15c deviation @ A5 if required
- Piano surface clean and dust cabinet plate and soundboard using soft down
- Hammer clean and voicing if necessary
- Instrument appraisal and recommendations
- Regional piano and voice training referrals
- Damper, soft pedal and practice rail adjustments that include cleaning and lubrication
Level Professional Concert Piano Tuning 300 – 425
Professional Concert service is for studio, commercial and live performance. It includes:
- Complete piano tuning and equalization at @ A440 concert pitch – fully equalized
- Free interior cleaning of your instrument
- Action adjustments and needed regulation where required
- Pitch raise up to 15c deviation @ A5 if required
- Piano detailed surface clean and dust cabinet plate and soundboard using soft down
- Minor hammer voicing if necessary
- Instrument appraisal
- Regional piano and voice training referrals
- Damper, soft pedal and practice rail adjustments that may include clean lubrication
- Above options are available with annual contracts for 2 tunings per year at a $15% discount.
Climate Control Systems
Climate Control Systems are highly recommended for most pianos residing in our Florida climate. I am your authorized reseller and installation technician for Dampp Chaser Corp. Climate Control systems are recommended if I see that your piano might benefit. For uprights and grand pianos, these affordable systems will enhance your pianos value and maintain the stability of your pianos soundboard, action and fine tuning as well as prevent soundboard cracks. Additionally, moisture that collects in the felt hammers and working parts of the Action will cause tonal brashness and keyboard sluggishness, even to the point of sticking keys and rusting of strings. A professionally installed Dampp Chaser system will result in lower maintenance costs over the life of your piano.

$519.00 (grand piano)
From sticky keys to complete rebuilds, I can take care of any repair issue. As each piano and potential repair is different, the cost to repair must be quoted based on the specific instrument.
I can also provide you with professionally written insurance estimates if your piano is damaged or needs to be insured.
