Ellen Hamilton Hosts Florida International Piano Competition
22 Pianists ages 18-32 compete over the course of a week for $40,000 in prizes. A win can also spur future performance opportunities: Korean Yekwon Sunwoo, who won the inaugural competition in 2008, later toured Europe and played at New York’s Carnegie Hall.
